And Shae's Off

Well I am off and running, or off my rocker. But either way it is the beginning. The beginning of me sharing my thoughts to whomever shall read. It is very odd that I would choose to do this being that I am opposed to Facebook and all forms of social media. Is blogging considered social media? If it is, I will once again have to modify my life rule set in order to encompass my growing and learning. I wanted my first post to be an introduction.

Hello! I am Shae B. Baby. I am nearly 5 decades old . I am deliriously, happily married. That is the good news, the embarrassing news is that I am also divorced. I have already apologized to my children for the divorce as I got married for a good, albeit wrong reason. I wish I had spent more time choosing the father of my children. Alas I did not, and they suffered for it. I hope they will learn from their mother's mistakes. More on that later. Back to my marvelous man of a husband. I say "man of a husband" because I am a woman who wanted a man for a husband. As opposed to the males that are slowly becoming more and more like women. (Thank you feminism for destroying the desire of a boy to become a man.) My husband and I are the Brady Bunch. (High fives to those of you old enough who know that reference.) We together have 6 children, 1 chocolate lab named Turtle, and three grandchildren going on four very shortly.

I might as well set the stage early to not waste your time.

I support our military and our police officers. I am NOT a socialist. (And the audience dwindles to just a few.) Confusingly, however, I am a public school teacher which definitely puts me in the minority at school. I am passionate about my work, what is this called? Being a work-a-holic? I will paraphrase many of the greats as far back as Confucius, more recently Twain, and presently my favorite great Dave Ramsey by saying if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. (And of course if you really never want to work you vote democrat/socialist. (same-same)

So what do I do for "work" ?

I am a public school Physics & Mathematics teacher, I freelance as a subject matter expert, and I teach itty bitty Chinese children English. My husband and I own a vacation rental property and are expanding quickly. He builds them and I manage them. Needless to say, I have the easy job ;).

So that is me, Shae, in a nutshell. My goal is to create a post a few times a week related to any and all of the above. I know I would have been diagnosed with ADHD as a child and forced to pop pills so as to stunt my creativity. So please bear with my inability to stay focused on one topic. Oh, and as you have already seen, I am not a writer, I am a math nerd. I am here to share my secrets about teaching and side jobs, vent about the continued loss of our morals as a country, and share my theories on why this is happening.
